New Medical Building Brings Pediatric Care Back to Lakeville

The Lakeville Planning Commission unanimously approved a 9,000-square-foot medical facility on Pilot Knob Road, marking the return of local pediatric services after years of limited options.

Vikings Watch Parties at Mystic Lake
Look, if you're gonna watch the Vikings this season, you might as well do it surrounded by fellow fans who understand the emotional rollercoaster we're all signing up for.

Vikings Season Opener at Bald Man Brewing
Two dollars off pints ALL DAY? That 133-inch projector screen? This is how you watch football when you want the full experience without the stadium prices. They're doing raffles every quarter and halftime games... it's like they took everything great about game day and cranked it up to eleven.

Tuesday (09/09/25)

Five Hawks Elementary Popsicle Meet-Up
Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best ones... and honestly, who doesn't want a Mr. Freeze on the playground? This is one of those sweet community moments where you can actually meet the other parents (instead of just awkwardly waving at pickup). It’s going down at Five Hawks at 6PM.

Premier Gold & Silver Roadshow
If you've got that box of old jewelry or coins sitting in your closet... you know, the one you keep meaning to do something about... this might be your moment. They're set up at the Holiday Inn for five days, no appointment needed, and you get paid instantly. It’s happening at Lakeville Holiday Inn.

Music Bingo at Buck Hill
Forget everything you think you know about bingo... this is way more fun. They play snippets of songs from the 70s through 2000s, and instead of numbers, you're marking off song titles on your card.

Back to School with Blue at Mall of America
If you've got a little one who's obsessed with Blue's Clues (and honestly, what toddler isn't?), this is basically their dream come true. Mall of America is doing the whole back-to-school thing right with crafts, photo ops, and activities that'll actually get your kid excited about learning. Learn more here.

Wednesday (09/10/25)

Thread and Clover 3rd Birthday Celebration
Thread and Clover is throwing a four-day birthday bash that's basically a love letter to everyone who's supported them. They've got everything from 90's themed parties to an actual escape room in the store (because why not make shopping an adventure?).

Music on the Hill with The Belfast Cowboys
Free outdoor concerts just hit different, especially when it's a nine-piece band playing Van Morrison covers. The Belfast Cowboys have been doing their thing since 2002, and there's something magical about live music on a hill with good food and cold beer. First come, first serve... which honestly makes it feel even more special.

Some events need tickets and might be canceled or have different times. Check the event venue's website or contact them before you go.

Home of the Week

➡️ 3 bed main residence + 6 bed guest house, 26.8 acres

➡️ 6,500+ sqft total living space across 11 buildings

➡️ Underground bunker & former mess hall

➡️ Commercial kitchen & rooftop patio

➡️ Cold War history preserved

Okay, this one's... well, it's definitely not your typical suburban listing. We're talking about an actual NIKE Missile Launch Site like, the kind that was built in the 1950s to defend the Twin Cities from Soviet bombers (wild to think about, right?).

Someone's turned it into this incredible family compound with Moroccan-inspired design, a guest house that could sleep a small army, and that old mess hall converted into a space with commercial-grade kitchen and rooftop patio where you can survey your 26+ acres like some kind of benevolent fortress commander.

And yes, there's still an underground bunker—because apparently some things are too cool to renovate away.

Price: $2,250,000
