Same-Day License Pilot Program Discontinued at Lakeville License Center
A state pilot program offering same-day issuance of standard driver's licenses at Dakota County's Lakeville License Center will end October 31, 2025.
Major Development Proposed for Southwest Lakeville
Lakeville is reviewing plans for a 390-acre development in the city's southwest corner that could bring between 460 and 1,440 new homes, plus retail space and possibly a school. The site, located west of I-35 and south of County Road 70, is currently farmland and rural properties.
